Bags are packed; ready to go
The day before we leave, we finalized the last minute packing. For a number of reasons, we have decided to go carry on only. We figured that by cutting down on the amount of junk we need to look after, we will be better able to concentrate on the experience and locations that we will see. Here we see the four backpacks after our final pack check on Tuesday evening:
Everything that Alex is not going to use goes into the storage room. This obviously includes all the toys, books, clothes, kids beds, clamps, tools, and assorted lengths of wire.
You can’t see it from this picture, but this is a 10x13’ room packed pretty much floor to ceiling with boxes. I think we need to de-junk when we get back.

ReplyDeleteYes, they were up until very late giggling out of excitement, and yes miserable in the morning out of the tiredness, though Maija assumed her responsibility as the instigator of such late night and not for a second showed signs of tiredness or unhappines. Way to go Maija!
