Loja Zoo, Not Just Ducks And Cats

So, we went to the Loja Zoo. Daddy said (you can quote him on this) "Don't be to excited, it is probably all ducks and cats and goats". Well, he was mistaken (kind of).
Orchid at the Zoo

First, we saw ducks. Yay. Well, they were pink and not flamingos. Sorry, I don't have a picture of them. Second, we saw.. wait for it... Monkeys and Squirrels!
I Want To Break Free

Monkey. Crazy monkey.
There was not supposed to be monkeys. Only squirrels. Dr. Olson's hypothesis is the following: The monkeys have taken over the cage and it is only so long until you SLEEP with a monkey.
Here is a quick translation: Dr. Olson= Daddy when he is being funny, and not serious, and serious all at the same time.
Here is a list of the animals we saw:

  • Tapir
This is a weird hog thing!?
  • Cute pig thing
Black pig or something that looks like a piglet.

  • Ostrich
Terran's pigeon. I am afraid of pigeons and Terran is afraid of Ostriches....*evil laugh*

  • Glasses Bear/Andean Bear/Paddington Bear
Andean bear AKA Glasses Bear. This is the species of Paddington.

  • Giraffe
Does this even need an explanation?

  • Monkeys
Furry monkey. Don't know what it is called.

  • Spider Monkey
We watched these monkeys for approximately 45 minutes, and named them Maija and Terran....they fight, they fight, they fight fight fight fight fight...lol. One girl threw a Kinder Surprise wrapper at the island that the monkeys are trapped in and Terran the Monkey got a sugar rush. Everyone was mad at the girl. She didn't know because we didn't throw her into the island. Dr. Olson wanted to though.

  • Cute monkey that we saw before
These monkeys that have appeared to have taken over have another private island. All the monkeys are trying to get to the other side and eat Kinder Surprises. Mmm, chocolate.
  • Loud birds
You can hear these birds from the monkey island exhibits.

  • Orchid
These are not animals but they are very pretty flowers.

  • Puma

  • Other large snake
IF YOU ARE READING THIS, DON'T. THIS IS SIMILAR TO THE OTHER ONE. JUST. DON'T. ASK.
  • Snapping turtle
This turtle looks like a turtle-alligator hybrid. It's face looked like a turtle alligatorr and it has analligators tail but the shell is spiky.
  • More Snakes
IT. IS. A. SNAKE!
